Today's Mountain Report

Updated Wed Feb 10th 7:03

Light snow continued to fall throughout the day yesterday and left behind a healthy four inches. Another three to five is expected to accumulate today and as we look ahead, the weekend forecast and even mid next week is promising. Just maybe, stubborn mother nature has turned a corner and let old man winter have some fun. Today will be all about the groomers with surface conditions reflecting machine groomed / packed powder. Fifteen trails were tracked overnight for your skiing and riding pleasure. That list includes Big Dipper, Open Slope, Upper / Lower Warren's, Upper / Lower Fox’s Folly, Lower Bear Den, The Shoot, Upper / Lower Willoughby, Dashney Mile, Binney Lane, Carter Country, Bunker Hill and High Meadows Pass. Snow making continues on Upper Dipper, Big Dipper, Carriage Road, and Ledges, so use caution when around those areas. Carriage Road will close today so we can finish covering. Tomorrow and Friday we will continue on the dipper trails moving down the slope to add additional coverage to Little Dipper and then Open Slope.
